With the beginning of another new year. I would like to thank all of my patients for allowing me the privilege of being your primary care physician. Here at Eagle River Family Practice our goal is to provide timely quality health care to our community.
New advances in medicine are occurring at an unprecedented rate, yet the more we learn, the more we see that good health is not about curing disease, it is about prevention. Many of the recent advances have provided very expensive procedures designed to treat illnesses that are preventable.
At Eagle River Family Practice we remain available to treat your chronic or acute illness and injury. We would like to focus more on primary prevention. Everyone should see their primary care provider at least once a year for a health check and to discuss healthy living. This visit should include assessment, evaluation and treatment plan for any chronic conditions. Your health check visit should be separate from any acute illness or injury treatment. Additionally a Comprehensive Physical Exam should be considered every 3 to 5 years.
My staff and I are available to meet your health care needs during our normal office hours Monday to Saturday from 9 a.m. to noon and 1:30 to 5 p.m. Appointments are preferred and walk-ins are accepted. The medical staff is normally available to our established patients after hours for urgent care visits. We are closed for major holidays and continuing medical education opportunities may affect Saturday hours.
