Hospital Compare is a resource designed just for you, the consumer.
The Medicare quality measures available on Hospital Compare are one way to see how well a hospital is caring for its patients.
The measures show how well hospitals treat three specific conditions: heart attack, heart failure and pneumonia.
Hospitals around the country have volunteered to provide Medicare with this information.
Now, Medicare is sharing this information with you.

As the Medicare Quality Improvement Organization (QIO) in Alaska, Qualis Health encourages you to use Hospital Compare as one resource to help you make health care decisions.

Qualis Health is under contract with Medicare to offer quality improvement assistance to hospitals and other healthcare providers.
